Welcome To Our Gallery for the year 2020
Our events are always a pleasure and great opportunity to meet people of different walks of life and under one umbrella supporting one cause or the other at a time. We stay as one while achieving goodness together. We can’t wait to meet you at our next event.
Charity Visit to The Lord’s Heritage House, 14th of March 2020.
Event Description: It was such a pleasant experience to visit a warm and happy home where vulnerable children were cared for. The orphans, physically challenged and gifted children were met while monetary and physical goods were given to the management as our support.
Our hope is that our contributed quota goes a long way in easing the management load and nourishing the young bodies they care for. Let’s hope that life gets better for them and we are able to do more on our next visit.
People present: For the event, we were accompanied by young and adult volunteers who were very excited to experience rendering their support and showing kindness. Each volunteer learnt a thing of two and took home a smile of satisfaction knowing that a good deed was done for the day.

Community Outreach, April 7th.
On this day, we visited the market at Iyana church to reach out to individuals by educating them about the novel disease COVID-19 (Coronavirus), teaching them the value of personal hygiene and personal protective equipment such as protective gloves, hand sanitisers and face masks, were handed over to them. Law-enforcement individuals were not left behind as well in this outreach.
We also visited two health centres located at Lagelu local government area and Monatan local government areas respectively. It was a pleasant feeling to see the smile our support brought the staffs and medical personnel of these health centres. A bulk of facial masks, protective gloves and hand sanitisers were handed over to them respectively.

Community outreach, April 7th.
Our next community outreach placed more focus on feeding. Due to the coronavirus lockdown in some states in Nigeria, many communities all over the country have felt the impact of the drop in the economy of the country, many traders were not able to make enough sales while regular artisans saw reduced demands for their services. Our team went out with raw food items to be distributed among the residents of Yemetu and Adegbayi in Ibadan, Oyo state..

Kiitan Foundation targeted over 400 individuals affected by the compulsory lockdown, many were unable to make sales from their trades as a result of unavailable buyers who could afford their good or services, our first stop point was Ede South, Osun state. We were warmly and joyfully received by members of the community. Raw food packages were distributed from house to house to residents while others queued for their own collection.
At Ede North, we also distributed food items to widows, the aged, young men and women, pregnant women and others. These relief items were well received and appreciated by the communities and many attested to how the food items would go a long way in relieving and providing sustenance to them in these trying times.

The Emergency Teachers’ Aid Programme – Volume 1
Event Description: Schools’ sessions in all levels and regions have been put on hold ever since the compulsory lockdown came into effect. Since the month of February, fees were not required to be paid for institutions who couldn’t afford the e-learning system of teaching hence teachers not getting paid.
We recorded great success during this initiative as the teachers were happy for the palliative given to them as there had not been an alternative source of income for them since the compulsory lockdown started.

Kiitan Foundation Soup Kitchen and Medical Outreach – Osun
Event description: The healthcare system is still overwhelmed and cautious even after the eased lockdown. While the fight against the novel disease ‘coronavirus’ is still ongoing, we didn’t forget that other life-threatening diseases and ailments were still in existence. Sometimes a little rest is enough to refuel our health while other times we may need to see a licensed medical specialist in the appropriate field for proper medical attention and treatment.
We initiated the medical outreach to come with the Soup Kitchen event at Osun state this time around because we wanted to entertain participating beneficiaries while they make life-changing decisions concerning their health.
