KIITAN FOUNDATION
Kiitan Foundation (C4642164) registered under California, USA law as a non-governmental organization. It was founded in the year 2019 with the hope of continuing the act of giving to the needy and being of a selfless service to mankind which had already begun. Kiitan Foundation started operations in the state of Osun, Nigeria and as time advanced, the need to expand the outreach to more important regions arose. As they say, charity begins at home, hence continuing from Osun state and expanding to other regions in West Africa.
According to National Geographic; Africa is the world’s second-largest and second-most-populous continent in the world. Africa is the oldest inhabited continent on Earth with the earliest fossils recognizably dating back to the modern homo-sapiens found in Ethiopia. The population in Africa is the youngest amongst all continents; the median age in 2012 was 19.7 when the worldwide median age was 30.4.
Africa is the world’s poorest and most underdeveloped continent in the world, and its plain to see from the personal experiences of the founding members of Kiitan Foundation. It is imperative to act as a guardian in joining others with common goals in paving the way for the survival of the young ones and the future through the acts of kindness of the present. Taking action, one step at a time, they have seen the impact and the ripple effect of generosity and giving selfless service to humanity.
No one has ever ended up being poor by giving, man in his understanding have realized the joy of putting a lasting smile on the face of the underprivileged. “There is a thin line between having and not having, so what more can we do to keep the needy and under-privileged smiling?”
In the year 2020, Kiitan Foundation would be serving the underprivileged in the USA, especially in California where it’s licensed. All our causes are valid for the two major locations of our offices. We have volunteers in the USA and Nigeria and gradually connecting with others outside these countries. All volunteers are advised to make use of the JOIN US link to connect with us and get started.
OUR CAUSES
Kiitan Foundation caters to the; physiological (free feeding, free clothing, free health and free shelter), social, educational, psychological, medical, and emotional welfare of vulnerable children, men and women. Our area of focus currently is in Nigeria, one state at a time.
