Kiitan Foundation PR team in conjunction with Operation Community cares and volunteers paid a charity visit to He Careth Orphanage and Motherless Babies Home (located at Akobo, Ibadan) during our community outreach at the Bashorun community in Ibadan, Oyo state.
Our aims for the community and orphanage visits respectively were to; distribute adult and teenager clothing items to people in the community, to distribute sanitary pads to young girls in the community; and to distribute clothings, toys, baby swing and seats, to the orphanage for the kids.
We started the operations for the day at 10:00 AM, our first stop was atHe Careth Orphanage and Motherless Babies Home to extend the joy of charity and the wholesomeness of giving, we met with the director of the home Mrs. Kikelomo Aminat who warmly received us, we proceeded to connecting with the Bashorun community residents and distributing the aforementioned items to them. We were met with smiles and gratitude from these residents as we expressed our charity’s missions and vision to the of humanity.
We do not shy away from extending our charity work to other charity organisations as well, as their work are evident on research of their facilities as well as physical visitation to their facilities. Here are pictures of what our day went:
