Giving has always been our currency at Kiitan Foundation. It’s easier for us at every event knowing that the lives of the beneficiaries would be affected positively by our act of kindness.

We recently received our license to do our work in the states, it’s only adequate that our charity work spreads as far as it can go without borders hence our additional setup in Brentwood, California.

Charity has no boundaries, it doesn’t judge nor discriminate against race, gender, age, religion and beliefs or backgrounds. Charity gives a lasting impression that there’s still hope in humanity somehow.

We had our founder Mr. Abideen Ojo and co-founder Ms. Rahmat Ojo chaperon this event and ensure good hospitality for the volunteers who came out to help in evenly distributing thanksgiving meals to the lessprivileged on the 25th of November, 2020

This, for most of the volunteers was a firsthand experience of doing charity work in their lives and it really excited them. Being able to put a smile on the faces of the beneficiaries helped them get a clearer understanding of the act of giving to the needy.

It would be interesting to mention that many humanitarians are shy to approach the needy directly to offer help to them, but with outreaches that they can take part in and be guided, they are able to happily join charity work without fear of being rejected or judged.

We are so excited that our first official outreach in the U.S. hit it off nicely with the beneficiaries which is a greenlight to do more.

Check out photos from our outreach below while we gear it up for the next one.
