We are always thrilled to share with you our experience at every outreach we organize and today, we bring you details of our support program to Muslim women in the Ramadan season. At the heart of our foundation’s mission is our commitment to support and uplift communities in need, regardless of religious affiliation. On the occasion of Ramadan, the Foundation organized a food distribution program at Araromi mosque in Ede, extending a helping hand to Muslim women experiencing financial strain during the fasting period.
The program, held on April 5th, aimed to alleviate the burden of fasting for 15 selected Muslim women by providing essential food items. Led by the state program manager and supported by the mosque’s leadership, the initiative exemplified the spirit of compassion and solidarity. With precision and care, the team distributed rice, maize, and jero (pearl millet), ensuring each beneficiary received an equal share of nourishment. The selection process, overseen by the Imam and Alfa, prioritized those most in need, emphasizing fairness and inclusivity.
The program generated heartfelt prayers and group photographs, marking not only the end of the event but also the beginning of renewed hope and gratitude within the community. Thanks to the generous support of our Foundation’s founder and board members, the initiative was a resounding success, embodying the true essence of Ramadan – giving, sharing, and caring for one another.
As we reflect on the significance of Ramadan and the power of collective kindness, let us remember that small acts of generosity can make a world of difference in someone’s life. Through initiatives like this, we are continuously spreading love and support, challenging ourselves to do better, enriching lives and promoting unity in our diverse society.
