Did you know that we have a monthly outreach geared towards the female child for the awareness of menstrual hygiene?
Menstrual hygiene: This is a topic many guardians and parents shy away from discussing with their female children/wards. It is encouraged to educate the girls on the changes to be experienced in their body(physically and psychologically) and how their hygiene comes into play as well as their diets. With proper management of hygiene and the health of a female child, she can have a hitch free menstrual period days as well as other days.
The Girl Child and The Pad event took place at Iyana Church, Ibadan on the 16th of November, Saturday.
This time around our visit was to the community there as we needed to expand our reach outside the school walls. Checkout out photos from the day event below.
