Today is a day on our international #calendar set aside for the #disabled persons all over the #world.
We acknowledge the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (#IDPD) with the aim of promoting awareness, wellbeing and the rights of these persons in all spheres of #societal and general development.
They are important and their #existence are valid too, therefore they must be treated with respect and regards for their existence. They are not to be discriminated against in their contributions towards the #sociopolitical, #socioeconomic and #cultural institutions of their country or communities.
We must unlearn the attitude of looking down on anyone due to their disabilities and begin learning the importance of inclusion for all in a working and growing community.
