A child would always love celebrations, anything that meant staying at home with the family and having access to all the sweet and delicious things the little hands could grab. A kid’s childhood is commonly filled with precious innocence, affection and protection from the parents/guardians.
For me, celebrating Easter has always brought back memories to cherish for a lifetime. When you are surrounded by love you would realise that giving it to others is a necessity. A warm handshake, a kind embrace and a lending shoulder could save the next life of a stranger. The reason for the season is to extend the love that we have learnt as we grow each day, the true joy that we have experienced, filtering out the pain and struggles to gift to others kindness just so that they can see that there is indeed ‘hope’ at the end of their tunnel.
Our lives’ narratives are ever unfinished, the good, the bad and the untold stories have made us who we are. Let’s not forget to extend our little lights all over the world, we never know who may need it.
One love, on earth, happy easter.
